Altair woke up in a familiar room, with his doting mother sitting at the edge of his bed with a worried expression. When she saw that Altair finally opened his eyes, she hugged her tightly, "Altair, my son!"

Hearing her husband’s voice, Madam Roderick immediately retreated out of the room and left Altair alone.

"D—Dad..." the stubborn Altair deflated immediately after getting confronted by his parents. He gulped and said in a low submissive voice, "Uhm... that... you know... how can I apologize to a beta like that. I would be humiliated even more..."
