Meanwhile, Nickolas walked inside and after seeing him Gabriel chuckled.
"Brother, meet my future son in law, who was supposed to be your future son in law a few years back" he added, trying to provoke his brother.
His brother always prioritised his family and their happiness over everything and anything. It mainly included his beloved daughter Sabrina.
So, this was indeed a huge achievement Gabriel was always proud of. He ’successfully’ snatched away his niece’s fiance who, according to him, was her happiness once.
Little he knows that this is the only one yet very major one he did for her happiness.
Anyway, Gabriel’s happiness didn’t last long when Nickolas walked past him to stand behind George.
Astonished and confused, Gabriel looked at Nickolas.
"You betrayed me!" he hissed in a low voice.
"Hmm...I did." Nickolas agreed. Looking straight into his eyes, he said, "Truth to be told, I was never on your side. From the very second I realized you have used me to lure Sabrina and her family, I was plotting for a payback"
Gabriel scoffed as he looked at Nickolas scornfully. His eyes shifted to his brother who was seated, composed and acting indifferent to everything that’s happening here.
"You knew this would happen! Nickolas and you were working together, aren’t you?" Gabriel asked his brother, George.
