"You promised to rest well, dear. Just sit and enjoy the show" her father in law supported her son and friend.
Brina smiled and nodded her head. Happy of being doted on by her husband as well as her father and father in law.
"Layla spoke with me, yesterday. Your uncle is trying to join hands with her" Louis said after some time.
"He is unaware that I attacked their underworld gang not only because of my personal revenge but also because of my friendship with you guys."
"Nickolas and Griffin are hiding everything from him. So, he is only thinking that I destroyed the underworld organization because they killed my boyfriend" Layla said.
When her boyfriend died, that underworld organization was not working with Gabriel. At least not to the level where one could easily identify it.
And, Gabriel is unaware that Seth is acquainted with Layla.
"So, what have you decided to do?" Brina asked her husband and his best friend.
"Well, what Nickolas suggested before is that I pretend to be in favor of Gabriel and try to distract him. So, in the meantime, Nickolas and others could come up with a plan to bring everything to an end. But, with all of you people, Remus and others included, we are yet to discuss" Layla answered.
This was a plan made by Nickolas before he is aware that Brina is alive. Layla actually pretended to be okay with his proposal just to make sure what his intentions are.
