Chapter 23: Looks like your boyfriend couldn’t stop talking to you!!
"Did Chris leave?" Louis asked.
"Yes sir. He followed you and madam to the apartment but he left long back." Assistant answered.
"And, Chris might check on my background. Cover all the tracks that might connect me to my real name."
"Yes sir. Anything else?" his assistant asked.
"Nothing. Did you check on Brina’s past as I asked?" Louis asked, as he looked around, checking if Brina had come out of her room.
"It will be on your table by morning, sir" Louis assistant told.
It is not that Louis wants to check on her. He just wants to know the reason why she hates rich people and prefers to have a simple life.
But he strongly decided not to go too deep into her past. If she wants, she will tell him by herself.
For now, he just wanted to understand the basic things about her and form the guidelines for himself so that she would not feel uncomfortable with him, like how she is with Chris.
He doesn’t want to become another Chris!
