"I think this is a perfect time for you to keep your promise, don’t you agree?"
Alexis smiles playfully at Noah, subtly changing the subject to dodge his question.
It would be awkward if she confessed her true feelings for him, wouldn’t it? This man might run away from her. That’s something she definitely didn’t want to happen.
"Promise?"
"Oh...!?" Alexis tilted her head with a curious look, giving him a warm, incredulous gaze. "Don’t try to avoid it..."
A gentle smile started to emerge on Noah’s lips. He realized he couldn’t avoid her anymore, even though he wished he could.
"I guess you already know my name—my grandpa was loud enough to introduce me to his friends and made sure everyone, including the media present, heard it," Noah responded calmly. And that’s the truth about what happened out there.
On the way here, he casually checked the news. He wasn’t surprised to see that almost all the trending topics on major websites and TV news outlets were about the Morgan family.
However, the focus had shifted from Jeremy Morgan to him.
Whatever his grandpa’s intention was, it was definitely successful.
"Noah Morgan..." Alexis whispered his name with a faint smile, her eyes warm as she looked at him. "But you still have to give me your cell phone number," she added with a friendly, teasing tone.
