Noah heads to the Golden Phoenix Tower after Emma and Jason finally leave the hotel.
He puts aside his worries about Emma and those people in Opal City because something more urgent is bothering him now.
Since leaving the warehouse complex last night, he hadn’t heard anything about how Matthew and his team wrapped things up at the crime scene.
Until now, there had been no news of Jeremy Morgan’s death, which made him curious about how Matthew would orchestrate it.
Before Noah drove his car, he texted Matthew. He told him he was on his way to the Golden Phoenix Tower and asked Matthew to report to him in person immediately.
Noah plans to tell his father about what happened last night, when he killed one of The Morgans—He wants to observe how his father will react to the news.
Precisely after one afternoon, Noah reached the sixty-ninth floor. And when the elevator door opened, Edgar was already waiting there, and he immediately greeted Noah.
As usual, Edgar greeted him politely in a royal way and led him to his father’s room.
Before Noah entered, he paused and looked back at Edgar.
"Did you hear anything from Matthew in the past hour? I asked him to report. Why hasn’t he given me any updates?"
"Yes, Sir. He told me a few minutes ago that he was about to meet and report directly to you, Sir. I believe he’s already waiting for you upstairs."
