Chapter 59: They Are Not Humans But Evil Creatures!
On the way to the Golden Phoenix Tower, Noah recounted to Edgar what had happened in Alexander Morgan’s office.
After a few moments, Noah concluded his explanation with a somewhat awkward smile, glancing at Edgar beside him.
"Edgar, I have no choice but to use a little force on Jeremy. I hope this won’t cause you trouble dealing with this matter..."
A subtle smile formed on Edgar’s lips, and pride rose within him after he realized how brave Noah was to face the Morgan family alone.
"It’s alright, sir. No need to worry about it. They won’t dare to act, especially if you threaten to reveal the voice recording. Their fear will keep them in silence."
Noah paused for a moment, his brows knitting together as if deep in thought, before he finally looked back at Edgar. "Well, the truth is, I didn’t have video recording, only voice..."
Earlier, Noah only managed to take out his voice recorder in his Space-Mind; he didn’t have tech like a smart pin in there.
"A voice recording will do... I’ll ask Ethan to prepare all the technicalities."
"Ah, I forgot about Ethan. He is my Father’s lawyer, isn’t he?"
"Yes, he owns the Ethan Water Law Firm, the top law firm in the country. However, only a few know that more than 90% of the Firm’s business and revenues come from your Father’s company, Golden Phoenix, and its direct and indirect subsidiaries. Only a small fraction of business comes from his other clients. So, basically, your Father owns his Law Firm."
Noah is no longer surprised.
