Chapter 6: Bringing the passion to pasture.
"Hi, Reena." Vuvi smiles.
"Howdy, Vee!" Reena replies as she turns to greet them. Her cheerful bouncing straining the limits of physics itself. "Got your mom's milk."
She smiles and hums as she plops down a crate of clinking, glass bottles onto a counter, each filled with a sloshing, creamy, white liquid.
"Fresh!" Reena smirks, puffing out her chest. "Pumped it just this morning!"
"Thank you, Reena." Vuvi nods. "Mom's been waiting for—"
"Actually..." Reena interrupts. "I, um..."
"No! Seriously? That's your fourth one this month!" Vuvi chuckles.
Reena blushes, her cheeks crimson as she flicks her long eye lashes.
"It's not my fault, I swear!" Reena explains. "I used it just like you told me. But... the pulse-crystals burned out again."
"Mother's mercy! Your strength and stamina is terrifying." Vuvi grins with a devilish smile. "Give me a day or two, I'll make you something more sturdy. In the meantime... want to try something new?"
Reena's eyes light up. "Your masterpiece? It's ready?"
