Fake Date, Real Fate

Chapter 181: The Universe In My Arms [III]

Adrien’s eyes flashed with heat as he took in my reaction, a triumphant smirk twisting his lips. He leaned in, his mouth hovering over mine, his breath mingling with mine in a heady dance.

"Tell me, love," he murmured against my lips, his voice low and dangerous. "Do you want me to take you right here against this wall? Or would you prefer the bed?"

I could barely think straight, let alone form coherent words. All I knew was that I needed him—now. I arched into him, my hips grinding against his hardness, my hands clutching at his shirt, desperate for more.

"Bed," I managed to gasp out, my voice barely a whisper.

A low, satisfied growl rumbled in his chest, a sound that vibrated straight through me. "The bed it is."

Then he dropped me onto the bed.

Not hard. Not gentle. Just urgent.

I bounced slightly, dazed, as his body followed mine down in a controlled fall. His hands went to my thighs, spreading them apart like he had every right to, like the space between them had always belonged to him.

He hovered over me, the moonlight slicing across his face, carving shadows into his jaw, his cheekbones, and his wild eyes.

And then hs mouth crashed down on mine again—hot, bruising, devastating. There was no softness in the way he kissed me now. Just raw, guttural need, sharp and consuming, like he was trying to brand himself into me. And maybe I wanted him to. Maybe I wanted to be ruined by him.

His hands were everywhere. Rough and reverent. He tore the ruined silk of my dress farther apart, seams snapping under his grip until the fabric gaped open, leaving my skin exposed to the cool air and his burning gaze.

"Pleasure’s a curse when I’m with you," he muttered. "I can’t get enough. It’s like you’re poison, and I’m addicted to the pain and the pleasure of craving more."
