Chapter 172: Leng Pan’s Return
Looking at his wife who was clutching her head and appeared to be in unbearable pain, he wanted to take her away or transfer the pain to him. But he didn’t dare to move because he didn’t know what effect that would have on her.
He could only hold her in his arms and wait.
As the memories settled and the pain left. Leng Pan realized that she was in Lu Zhen’s arms and only then did she realise that she must have scared him.
She took a deep breath and raised her head.
"Hubby, I am fine now." Leng Pan said to her husband who then unwrapped his arms around her and looked her up and down as if to make sure she was telling the truth before sighing in relief.
"I shouldn’t have told you anything. If I had known it would hurt you, I wouldn’t have said a word." Lu Zhen said with regret on his face.
"No,thanks for telling me. I just remembered too many things at the same time, which was the reason for the headache.
You did the right thing telling me, otherwise I would have continued to believe that I am someone I am not." Leng Pan was truly thankful to Lu Zhen for that piece of information.
It had helped her realize who she really was. Even though it had raised a lot of questions, she was happy about it. At least now she didn’t have to feel guilty about taking over someone else’s body and life.
This was her body and her life to begin with. It was the other party who had taken over everything.
