Chapter 169: Surprise at the Park
"Have there been any breakthroughs yet?" Lu Zhen asked his brother as soon as he sat down.
He found Lu Tao already seated in front of a computer with a drawing page filled with lines of all shapes on the screen. Indeed, for someone who had no background in graphic design, this was just a drawing filled with lines and shapes, but for those who understood, they could tell that something was taking shape.
Lu Zhen had some understanding when it came to computers. After all, his company had been expanding into the communication field though it had been premature when the apocalypse started, he still understood some basics.
That was why as soon as he saw the design on the computer he understood what it was in an instant.
"You are making coms?" Lu Zhen asked again before his brother could reply.
"Yes, they are easy to carry and hide in case of enemies getting involved. They are also highly portable. They are not bulky like mobile phones and you don’t need your hands to operate and hold them when using them.
So, even in the middle of something like fighting, you can still communicate with others if need be." Lu Tao explained his reason for designing coms instead of mobiles.
It was a bit childish to think that a design for something as important as future communication was based on such reasons but Lu Zhen liked the design, so he wasn’t about to discourage his brother.
In fact, he praised him instead.
"You did a good job. Finish designing it and if you need something like the materials to create them or anything else, feel free to ask me for it. Don’t worry about anything else." Lu Zhen reassured his brother before leaving his room.
