Chapter 157: Special Clothes
They did not need to search for long before they saw a door that was slightly a jar. It was easy to spot since the rest of the walls were just a projected work of art. Since the first time the AI program had projected some beautiful landscapes on the walls, it had not gone back to being plain.
It changes a different landscape every time and Leng Pan was honestly amazed. Some of the things that appeared on the walls were things she had never seen before. Flowers and trees she didn’t think existed.
Leng Pan pushed the door open and peeked inside first before walking in. Lu Zhen looked at the girl who was behaving like a thief when she was already inside the mansion and felt that it was funny.
He wondered how he never realized that she had such an adorable and silly side to her before.
He followed her inside the room and was surprised to find that the room didn’t have much in it. There was a long table in the middle made of a material that resembled marble, but he could tell that it was not marble.
He couldn’t identify what material that was but on top of the table was a small ball that resembled the one Leng Pan had described as having seen in her memories.
"Is that ball..." Before Lu Zhen could finish his question, Leng Pan already understood what he wanted to ask and nodded.
"Yes, it’s identical to the one I saw in my memories. If infused with the superpower energy, it can reveal the true appearance of the aliens. But, what is it doing here? Does it mean that it can be used in the current world?
And, if that’s the case, doesn’t that mean that there are aliens in this world too? How and when did they appear? Are they responsible for the apocalypse?" Leng Pan asked so many questions that Lu Zhen didn’t know where to start. Moreover, he didn’t know the answer to these questions.
He realized that his wife was probably having an anxiety attack and hugged her. It was the only thing he could do to comfort her.
