"Do you think you could have defended against the attacks that could hurt me and your sister-in-law?"
Lu Tao thought about how as soon as they got into the car, Lu Zhen had become so bloodied and Leng Pan also had a bleeding arm and shook his head.
"Maybe not. I didn’t even see the attacks clearly. How could I defend against them?" Lu Tao replied to his brother after some thought.
In fact, the first attacks were indeed a surprise and no one had seen them. That was also why both Lu Zhen and Leng pan had gotten hurt. But the ones after that were anticipated so even the elders had seen some of them.
With his supervision, Lu Tao had seen more clearly from the moment the attacks were launched and followed their trajectory to the moment they were broken by his brother and sister-in-law.
