Chapter 132: Bumper Harvest
Leng Pan didn’t waste time and immediately started cutting the meat with a water blade.
She had Lu Tao wait near the door for his brother so as not to freeze, being too deep in the cold storage unit.
While she searched for the best meat to cut, she also placed whole animals into her space. She just needed to pile them up with the other meat she had bought before the start of the apocalypse.
It could be handled later when they had time or when she could finally bring more people into the space.
She was not discriminatory. She kept everything she could touch and wouldn’t leave a big gap that would be too obvious to Lu Tao.
She would then cut up the meat she thought was good such as legs and even ribs for barbecues in the future and carry them to pile them near the door.
She then went back to look for more meat and the process continued.
When Lu Zhen brought the garbage bags back, there was already a large pile of beef meat. He started to fill in the bags with his brother’s help.
Once a bag was half full, Lu Zhen would tie it and put it aside, then take another bag to fill.
Since he and Leng Pan had been training nonstop and also seemed to have a mutation in their DNA due to the superpowers and spiritual spring water, they had strength and stamina that was several times stronger than that of normal humans.
"Okay, Baby, I think that’s enough for now. Otherwise, the truck won’t be able to fit so much meat." Lu Zhen called to his wife to stop cutting more meat after they had filled at least thirty garbage bags.
