Chapter 71: The Realization
"Okay big brother, I understand." Lu Tao replied with a serious look that didn’t match his age.
From his expression, Lu Zhen realized that he had indeed realized the severity of the issue and would not tell another soul about it.
He didn’t want Leng Pan to get into trouble or be in danger because of his brother. That would put him in a difficult situation and also break his heart.
"Go back and take a shower before breakfast. Your sister-in-law and I will be there soon." Lu Zhen then urged Lu Tao to leave.
Their morning workout had been interrupted and couldn’t continue. So, there was no need to waste any more time. It was better to go have breakfast earlier then he could come back to practice his ability.
He had made progress, and even though Leng Pan hadn’t talked about her practice, from her happy mood yesterday, he could tell she had also progressed.
He was aware that things were a bit different from what Leng Pan had described before. After all, the apocalypse was supposed to start with heavy rain but ended up starting with meteorites.
Therefore, even though the information from their previous life was still useful, it couldn’t be relied upon. They had to be ready to respond to any situation.
Thus, enhancing his ability was essential.
