Chapter 57: Uncle Li’s Unique Superpower
Lu Zhen had expected many people to have such thoughts. If he didn’t know what was going on in advance, he would probably be among them. Unfortunately, such a beautiful dream doesn’t exist.
"Work harder and learn to control your ability sooner. There are no miracles in this world." He didn’t say everything bluntly, but Lu Tao was smart enough to understand his implications.
"Okay, I’ll go and start to practice." Lu Tao said as he walked to the balcony and sat down.
He felt as if his head was about to explode from the noise, but he knew that this would be his reality until he learned how to filter what was important from the noise.
Lu Zhen after talking to his brother got up and left. He found his wife, sat next to her and took her hand quietly.
Leng Pan turned around and smiled at her husband then resumed discussing clothes designs with her mother-in-law.
She had realized that the real world she came from seemed to be a little ahead of this one and some designs were yet to be created. In that case, there was no problem in sharing them and making them her own. Not that it matters anyway. After all, who would care who came up with a design in the apocalypse?
As their discussion came to an end, Uncle Li called for everyone to head to the dining table for dinner.
No matter what was happening outside, the family tried as much to have a normal family meal.
