Such a woman should have been shown throughout how she uses her strategic mind to survive and protect her younger son until they find their elder son and brother.
However, considering that the author even killed the male lead, it was not surprising that he would kill such an incredible character early on.
Leng Pan was feeling overwhelmed because of the changes that had occured. When she read the book, she had been excited about the start of the apocalypse because she wanted to see how her favorite characters fought zombies and other greedy humans.
She also wanted to see how superpowers evolved and what kind of disasters the author could conjure. However, right now, she didn’t want any of that anymore.
