Chapter 39: Giving Spiritual Spring Water to the Elders
"You are right, baby. You are so smart. That’s indeed a good reason that won’t be doubted. But what if they ask for the drug?" Lu Zhen praised, but then started to worry about another problem.
"Simple, just drop a vitamin tablet in a mug and fill it with spiritual spring water and give it to them to drink. They will never know that the issue is with the water. I’ll fill several bottles with spiritual spring water for that purpose." Leng Pan supplied with a smug look on her face.
"Mmm...to why didn’t I think of that? That’s a great idea. Why don’t we go and give it to them now? Just in case it has an effect on the survival during the apocalypse." Lu Zhen suggested.
"Uh-huh, that makes sense. It’s possible that taking spring water before the apocalypse starts might be beneficial.
I’ll go fill those bottles of water, see if you can find a medicine bottle without a label somewhere and put three pills in it.
You can’t fill the entire bottle because a drug like that would certainly be scarce." Leng Pan advised as she got up and headed to the kitchen to fill three bottles of water with spiritual spring water.
She had never gone through the apocalypse before and only knew everything she was expecting from the novel, however, from other apocalypse novels she had read, she knew that drinking it and eating something miraculous before the onset of the apocalypse increases the chances of survival.
She was falling deeper in love with Lu Zhen and she didn’t want some of his family members to die or turn into zombies.
That would break his heart and she couldn’t let that happen. Therefore, she took three half-liter bottles of mineral water and emptied them before refilling them with spiritual spring water.
Once she was done, she walked out of the kitchen and met with Lu Zhen who had come to see if she was done.
"Did you find any vitamin tablets that don’t have an obvious scent?" Leng Pan asked as soon as she saw her husband.
