Chapter 27: The Warehouse in the Suburbs
After Old man Zhao and his butler left, Lu Zhen opened the computer in the office and turned off all the security cameras before starting to pack everything in the office into empty boxes they found in the store room.
Once packed, they were placed in the warehouse inside the space. After that, they collected all the shelves with the books and other materials still arranged inside them and placed them in the space as they were.
It took them an hour to finish packing and storing everything and by the time they were done, the bookstore was empty.
"Let’s go to the Lu Group warehouse and collect the things you ordered. Then we have to go to my parent’s villa to collect what was delivered today before going home.
Looks like by the time we get home, mom and little brother will be asleep." Leng Pan said as they walked out of the bookstore hand in hand and locked the door.
They didn’t want to attract any unwanted attention, so even though the bookstore was empty, they still locked it.
"It’s alright. Mom will understand that we just got married and need our privacy. We are not going on a honeymoon so it’s understandable if we spend more time together." Lu Zhen replied.
When he mentioned honeymoon, he felt that he was shortchanging Leng Pan since he won’t be able to take her on a honeymoon like other new brides.
He held her hand with their fingers intertwined and apologized for that.
