Chapter 70: Taste of her

Ella’s stomach twisted at the command, breath caught somewhere between hesitation and reckless want. But she obeyed, her hands trembling as she reached behind her back, unclasped the bralette, and let it fall, the lace whispering down her arms before fluttering to the floor.
Nicholas inhaled sharply, his eyes fixed on her bare skin like a man starving. "Jesus," he muttered, low and reverent, his hand reaching up to cup the soft curve of her breast. His thumb swept over the peak, teasing in lazy circles that sent jolts of sensation straight through her core. She arched toward his touch, a soft sound catching in her throat as pleasure sparked low in her belly.
His lips replaced his thumb, hot and seeking, closing over her nipple and sucking gently—just enough pressure to make her gasp. He teased with his teeth, a playful graze that sent her hips shifting helplessly against him.
It was too much and not enough at the same time.
This wasn’t like anything she’d ever known. With Ryan, it was always mechanical—an obligation, a performance she learned to endure. With Nicholas, though... it felt like something sacred. Something meant only for her, every touch, every look, like she was a gift he’d been waiting his whole life to unwrap.
"Breathe," he whispered against her skin, trailing kisses lower. His hands found her waist now, and with agonizing slowness, he began to ease her leggings down over her hips. He kissed each new inch of exposed skin, the rasp of his stubble sending electric little shocks through her.
Ella lifted her feet one at a time, stepping out of the leggings, feeling as if she were shedding more than just clothes—she was shedding old versions of herself, the girl who didn’t know what real pleasure felt like.
Now she stood before him in nothing but her panties, breath shallow, heart racing.
