Rui deeply sighed and uttered, "I guess I have to ask someone for help this time. Maybe Ruth can help me with this matter and pretend to be my girlfriend in front of Candice so she will not disturb me."
Cali turned at Rui in disbelief.
"Seriously? Ruth?! Are you kidding me? That woman is too clingy! You’re so scared of Candice but not her? Ruth is much more scary than Candice!" Cali chided. She could not believe Rui even considered that idea and did not even think of her once!
"I can’t think of anyone else who will agree. Trust me... You have never witnessed Candice make her move on me yet, but once you happen to see it... Well you will say she’s scarier than Ruth." Rui informed her because that was true.
Candice used to tease him a lot when she was in Yang globals that left him breathless every time she played with him, and all that was when he had not met Cali yet.
"Fine! Tell Candice that I’m your fiance and I really don’t mind helping you for flicking away that lady bug. Just as long as we will just pretend in front of her but not in the whole campus.
I don’t want a lie spreading in the entire school for those who know me so we can just pretend in front of Candice and tell her that it’s a secret since we prefer our privacy at school."
’But I want the whole school to know particularly that Edward!’ Rui irritably mused.
