Chapter 452: In Their Favor
Lana stood up and began presenting her case.
"With due regards to the Judiciary and the justice sitting in charge of the courtroom here, the first thing I want to present as the basis of my case is the letter left by my client’s mother which clearly states how Mr. Xander Yang was unknowingly connected with the Yue Clan by blood.
This makes him the only alive true heir to the clan’s leadership, and that was something which made the accused try to kill my client several times which he escaped sometimes by his wit and sometimes by his luck.

But the truth was that the twins were not dead. Instead, they lived in silence and disguise peacefully in country V.

Lana started and introduced Xander to everyone as Kanya’s only living offspring.

"I object, your honor," Lana’s face twitched hearing Liam, the lawyer representing Yun, interrupting her narration. But then she kept her cool, engraving Liam’s words to trust him. "The accusation laid by my opponents is absolutely baseless. It is nothing but just a fake story created by the plaintiff’s side. Those twins were not rumored to be dead, but they actually died in that accident and we also have evidence for the same, including their mortal remains. Here is a proof that the remains lying in the Yue Clan territory are of the twins, Kelly and Kanya." The defendant’s lawyer explained and presented the documents on the projector.
