The atmosphere in the wedding hall was at a high and the wedding vows were very beautifully spoken and taken by the bride and the groom.
Everyone enjoyed the wedding celebration held at the indoor private restaurant of the island near the beach and Ryu’s mansion. The Ken’s food catering on the island served a five course lunch with a wide variety of dishes to the guests and the newlyweds.
Rui was again given the responsibility to host the program during lunch, but this time he was not alone.
"See the result of teasing a single man at parties such as weddings? I had to get a partner with me..." Rui mumbled as an opening remark, hanging his words in the last to give an ambiguous feeling.
Everyone looked at Cali, whom he had brought with him to attend the wedding. She blushed and waved her hands in denial, as a signal that Rui was not talking about her.
Rui laughed, seeing all eyes at Cali and added, "I am talking about a partner at hosting! Why are you guys looking at my lovely fiance! I’m talking about Xander, who is going to join me here to host the party while we all enjoy our lunch!"
Laughter resounded in the venue hall and Xander joined Rui at the center to entertain their few selected guests in the celebration.
"When do you plan to tell him?" Rizie asked Yera while they ate some desserts at one table.
Yera smiled and answered, "After the party, I will ask him to accompany me to the hospital because of an upset stomach."
"The heck your brain sis, you wanna make him worry like hell before blasting off the explosive news to him. You’re trying to kill bro?" Rizie mumbled in a joke.
