"Our marriage marks a year tomorrow. You’ve been using a borrowed ring, so..." He took her hand and pulled out the ring on it before replacing it with an ultra slim glittering gold ring with a small pink colored stone.
The ring was so beautiful on Jeslyn’s finger that it felt like she was born with it.
She gasped at the stunningness of the ring and her lips broke into a winsome smile. The ring almost blended with her skin, still, it was simply an allure– the most gorgeous ring she had ever seen.
It might be slim, but it didn’t look less expensive. It was classy, flamboyant, and screams of money!
She admired the ring with so much love that Maverick’s lips stretched into a smile.
"Glad you like it," he said.
"It’s so beautiful!" Jeslyn purred.
"Where is yours?" She asked him. The only time she had ever seen a ring on his finger was on the altar after she put it on him.
Maverick stretched the box to her and she took out the normal-sized ring for a man and placed it on his finger.
He got her such a tiny ring so it would go unnoticed on her finger. She’s a celebrity and her marriage is ’supposed’ to be hidden at the moment.
Jeslyn stood on tiptoes and kissed him. "Thank you, Plum." She whispered.
