Chapter 115: Consummate****

Maverick knew she was his Rossa the minute she talked about the island. That island was a gift to him by his father. The day that the island was opened, only ten families were invited. Among those families, only one young woman brought a little girl with hazel eyes along.
Maverick remembered the girl because she was way cuter than all the children he had seen. That wasn’t all, she had a smile that melted a person’s heart which made her the favorite on the island but her mother was overprotective of her.
The child loved to play and run around but the masked mother was the opposite. Yes, masked.
Among everyone on the island, only the two children didn’t wear masks. Everyone else wore masks all through their stay.
The day Rossa fought with her mother, he was passing by when he heard the child singing In the rain. The mother didn’t like that, so she chastised Rossa. Annoyed, Rossa argued back and ran away from her mother.
Maybe the woman thought Rossa was going to sleep which was why she didn’t follow her or maybe she had other reasons but whatever it was, Maverick was happy it happened. Thanks to that reason, he got to know Rossa and they became friends through their one-month stay on the island.
The first time they kissed, he didn’t intend for it to happen. He wanted to give her something but she unexpectedly turned which made their lips brush against each other.
The second time, she fell on top of him and they locked lips. It was also an accident that happened all through the five times. Well, that was a joke. There were times he deliberately kissed her, especially when she was sleeping. Sometimes he created a premise where he ’accidentally’ stole a kiss from her.
