Chapter 2 : Mom
Yue Li Lian’s eyes twitch as she heard him.’ Husband?! What husband?... Am I dreaming? I don’t think I know him...? Wait...Did I possibly forgot something?’ she thought.
Li Lian’s eyes froze at the man’s face, "Husband? W-Was I married? Did I forgot something...?"
Hearing the word ’Husband’ from Li Lian, the man’s cold face melted into a warm smile.
Seeing his warm smile, Li Lian felt her heart tightened and clutches her own chest in reflex. Her heart was filled with a warm and fluffy cloud-like feeling.
As if she had forgotten something, Li Lian suddenly stood up again from her bed and exclaim. "Ah! My mom!". But because her body was still weak, especially her legs once again, Li Lian stumble as she loses her balance.
The man frowned in worry at the scene and hold her hand to support her body. He made her sits down again once again on the bed with eyes filled with worries.
"Mrs. Yue...Your mom is alright now. You were in a coma, it has been a year since the accident" He explains what happened in the past year slowly.
’I was in a coma ? for a year?!’ Li Lian’s expression turned dark as he heard him.
"Like you, your mom is in a coma... However in your case...The wound in your head was far worse and If you were-" The man stops his word and his expression turned darker than black, Li Lian could see his hand had begun to trembles.
