Xia Luna glanced back at Lin Jian who pinched his thumb and forefinger together and pulled them over his lips like a zipper. She clenched her lips into a line and averted her gaze to Jiang Xingyu. "It’s still a bad thing. The more people know about me, the harder it is for me to remain in hiding."
Jiang Xingyu couldn’t agree more. This was about her safety and her lifeㄧand her freedom too.
"Xingyu, can we not meet anymore?" She suddenly said solemnly. "Ever since I met you again, things that shouldn’t be happening have been happening one after another and..." she didn’t know what else to say and just sighed.
"Okay." Jiang Xingyu said.
"Okay?" Xia Luna was just as surprised as Madam Jiang and Lin Jian. The latter was quick to catch up and he had already understood that this was the girl Jiang Xingyu dated before. He had been blue for ages after she left and now that she asked to disappear again, he was saying yes without needing to be convinced?
