It was hard to stop smiling at this point.

I was on my knees and a crown of flowers was sitting on my head. Blaze was in a flowing outfit that matched mine but it was black in color while mine was flowing white.

We were kneeling side by side and my heart was pounding fast against my ribs.

The goddess of light had used her magic to transform this garden to a world where the sky was pink and filled with so many pretty butterflies.

She was chanting something in a language i didn’t understand but I believed it was some sort of prayer. When I glanced at Blaze, he was staring at me as well and I felt my heart skip a few beats. He was so handsome, way handsome than I even remembered. I think that was because in those six months of his absence, he had lost the rest of his boyish features. His face was fully manly now and I kept thinking about how it would feel to have him kiss me. I haven’t kissed anyone in the past six months. Although I’ve had dreams of huh wanting to kiss me in my dreams, I usually resisted and do wake up almost immediately and that was because I feared that was some kind of incubus and not actually him.

The goddess of light pressed something against my forehead with a flick of her fingers and I realized that were like a sprinkle of oil.

"Now, hold hands." She continued and we did as told. Shivers rolled through my spine as I reveled in the feeling of his big hand closing around my small ones. I’ve missed this so much, I’ve missed everything about him so damn much.

The goddess of light then began to sing a soft song that almost moved me to tears.

"They’re soulmates, a fragment of so many different lives combined together in this world. Let the sky and the light be a witness to their union right now, and let the magic from the source of the light be a shield to them on moving forward." She continued to speak and after a few more minutes, she announced that she was done. Blaze drew me into a tight hug as I clutched him tightly, never ever wanting to let go.

"As for the prophecy, I’ll be back for that later." She spoke softly, body slowly lifting into the air as she spoke. I wanted to argue and ask that she tell us now instead of later because I was only gonna keep thinking about it until then but she was already gone, disappearing into thin air.
