Chapter 264: Leverage
Jules’ pov
Blaze was wiping my hands with his shirt, but they didn’t come off. I felt numb all over. The urge to cry was at the back of my throat but I refused to give into it.
When I wanted to stare at Taylor’s body again, I hesitated while my stomach twisted with disgust at myself and immense regret, but as soon as the hesitation came, it disappeared, leaving me numb once again.
Taylor was still in the same position, and as I stared at his body, a bunch of thoughts swirled within me.
"Do you regret it?" Blaze asked from behind me and after long minutes, I shook my head.
"No."
I don’t regret it, not after how much he played in my face. He deserves to die for everything he did to me.
When I glanced back at Blaze, my lips wobbled a little.
"Do you think I’m a monster for not regretting?" I asked and he instantly shook his head. He took my hand which still had a little blood on it and rested it against his cheek.
"Not a monster at all. You did the right thing, and he deserved it after everything. You’ll never become a monster, you’ll always be my little bunny."
I let out a slow exhale, eyes stinging a little as I walked forward and wrapped my arms around him in a tight hug.
