Chapter 251: Rut ??!
Blaze’s pov
"What?" I echoed out just as Labyrinth stiffened atop me, body growing rigid.
Roy rolled his eyes after that, while my heart raced miles.
"Don’t tell me you haven’t realized it? The signs are right there, look at how clingy you’ve been since yesterday." He continued with an arched eyebrow and as I let my mind zero in on my attitude towards my mate since yesterday after our bond got tampered with, I realized that I had been acting wey possessive than usual.
"But... it’s not due until..." I trailed off, suddenly feeling confused.
My last rut felt like a long time ago and I began to wonder how I managed to completely lose track of something as important as this.
Labyrinth was gnawing on his bottom lip as he stared at me. As my eyes trailed over his face, my hold around his waist tightened and I got consumed with the urge to swallow him whole till he was living inside my head. That thought startled me and I realized that my rut is really around the corner.
"Fuck." I swore underneath my breath and then I tugged Labyrinth down to inhale a lungful of his lungs, letting my jest get filled up with his intoxicating scent which was driving my wolf crazy.
Now that I was thinking about it, all the signs were indeed right there, I had just been too preoccupied to actually notice them, and now that I’m dwelling on it, it felt like it was a few days away.
