Chapter 239: Mate Bond In Danger
Blaze’s pov
"You let him go?!" I growled, anger bleeding into my veins as I reached out and grasped his throat tightly. Kim choked and gaspss for breath, he tried saying something but it came out muffled and choppped. I almost couldn’t see straight, anger was blinding every inch of my eyes that all I could see wherever I looked was red, stark, angry red.
Roy was pacing around, trying to put two and two together. We arrived back here together a few minutes ago, after I teleported us right into the middle of my apartment, we instantly exited it after I checked everywhere and confirmed he wasn’t in there. I met Kim on the hallway of his floor, he had a backpack on and had apparently been searching for me. However, as soon as he gave me a rundown of what had happened, the urge to snap his neck into it gripped me tightly.
"Why the hell would you let him go??!" I roared, grip tightening around Kim’s throat.
Roy ended up suggesting I don’t kill Kim yet since he was yet to explain all that happened to me and I reluctantly loosened my hold on his throat, watching as he sagged on the ground while gasping for breath.
"Start explaining and If you leave a single detail out, consider yourself as dead." I ordered before walking away from him and standing before the window in Kim’s shabby apartment. I scrubbed my hand across my face, feeling like the worst mate ever. If I had been present, this would definitely not had happened. He even called me countless times but my phone automatically shut down as soon as I entered that clan.
I stubbed my hand across my face again when Kim began to explain what actually happened, revealing that Elio got abducted and that a man named Andrian asked him to come alone if he wanted to save his friend. He also added that he also didn’t want him to go alone at first and even offered to accompany him, but the portal created to transport him was for a single person. I was beyond enraged once he was done explaining. Andrian didn’t use a car to transport him today, he used a portal so that it wouldn’t be able to be traced or caught by cameras.
Smart, sneaky bastard.
Roy began to jot somethings down while asking Kim some questions, while I was racking my brain, trying to figure out where Andrian might have taken my mate to.
