Chapter 212: New Things
"This is Mason, he’s a shapeshifter." I began. "This is Archie, he’s a lycan and an alpha." I explained, pointing at one of the four guys who are always around me in school. I glanced down at Labyrinth as I spoke, watching as he gnawed on his bottom lip as he nodded slowly.
"And this is Mike, he’s a werewolf and an alpha. The fourth one is Jason and he’s a dragon shifter." I continued almost immediately. I was introducing Labyrinth to my friends, the only people I ever hang around with here in school.
I’ve never introduced them to anyone before, this was completely different because this is my mate and because I’ve talked about him to them before.
We aren’t that close, because they don’t know that much about my past... so calling them friends might be a reach, but they’re still people I’d want to introduce to my mate.
"Nice to meet you all." Labyrinth offered politely as he blinked slowly, cheeks coloring a little under their stares.
Jason, the one who had offered a little help to me one time after my mate had walked into trouble like he just couldn’t stop doing, being the trouble magnet that he is– offered his hand to my mate for a handshake.
’My mate’.
I’d never tire of referring to him as that.
"We finally meet. I hope you’re doing alright. I haven’t heard a lot of things about you, but I’ve definitely seen a lot of you around school since you enrolled." He drawled and I rolled my eyes a little, watching as Labyrinth blushed a little.
