Chapter 183: Ethereal
Jules’ pov
Is crying due to happiness a normal reaction? Because I just got filled with the weird urge to sob right now. My chest felt tight and filled with so much emotion. It clogged up my throat and made me unable to speak at first.
He stepped forward, closing the distance between us until our bodies were almost touching and my lungs got filled with his scent at once. He held out the bunch of roses which matched the shade of my outfit.
My fingers shook as I reached for it, hand brushing against his and my heart fluttered as I accepted the flowers.
"You said your favorite color was white." He breathed out and I instantly glanced up at him while silently wondering if it would be weird for me to say something like ’I love you’ right now.
The feelings coursing through my insides right now was nothing but love, it was unlike anything I’ve ever felt in my entire life. A lot of emotions were currently swirling in his eyes right now and it made me feel like I was being sucked into his eyes.
"You remembered." I whispered, my throat suddenly feeling tight as my mind briefly drifted towards the day he asked me to tell him about myself. That day somehow felt so faraway.
He let out a soft chuckle and reached out to lightly graze my cheek with his knuckle, eyes warm and making my heart flutter again.
"Of course I did. I’ll never forget anything you tell me about yourself." He responded huskily and I practically melted in the spot.
