Chapter 181: Important Question
Roy was waiting for us outside just like I ordered, but not to drive us to where we’d be going to tonight. He’s only here because he brought the car over for me.
He waved at us as soon as he noticed up approaching and Byrinth giggled beside me, a sound which was like a shot of heroin to me.
Ever since I got to know his actual, I’ve been referring to him as that within myself more and more, so that I could get used to it. I barely call him anything that’s not the nickname I picked out for me since the first time we crossed paths.
"Hi Jules." Roy drawled as he pulled the back door open with a dramatic bow, which made Jules laugh again.
"Stop being silly, Roy. But thank you." He breathed out before sliding into the car. Before I entered as well, Roy wiggled his eyes at me knowingly but I flipped him off at once, which made him snicker while shaking his head.
"So... where are we going?" Byrinth whined beside me and I snorted as I glanced at him.
"It’s a secret." I reminded him just as Roy pulled into the road.
"I could tell you." Roy offered and Bryinth perked up at once, eyes lightening up. "You know where we’re going?!" He asked and I rolled my eyes as I slid my arm around his waist and tugged him against my side.
"Ignore him, bunny. He doesn’t know anything."
Byrinth pouted beside me and I chuckled softly. If I knew he sucked this bad at being surprised, then I might have done this sooner because watching him try to figure it out over and over again is very entertaining.
"Blaze is right, bunny." Roy called out from the driver’s seat. "I was only messing with you. Blaze can be a secretive asshole so I don’t know where you guys are headed."
