Chapter 163: In Deep Trouble
Jules’ pov
I should have known this would happen, knowing that Blaze’s sense of smell was extremely sharp.
Fuck.
I bit on my bottom lip, feeling too tongue tied to speak. When he dragged his nose down the curve of my throat again, I let out a low breath and gripped his shoulders tightly.
"I can detect his scent on you a little, I can pick up that fucker’s scent anywhere." Blaze continued and I swallowed emptily, having nowhere to run or turn to since I was currently in his arms.
"I didn’t met up with him per se." I finally responded, which was partially the truth.
"I was hanging out with my friend when he came to me, and he said he wanted to talk to me. I declined the offer but when he kept insisting, I agreed and we spoke by a cafe."
Blaze growled lowly, nose still ghosting against the skin of my throat and I shivered a little, mouth growing drier because I didn’t know what was going on in his mind.
"I asked you not to talk to him again." He reminded me and I blanched, biting at the inside of my cheek as he began to head for the sitting room.
"I won’t speak to him again, I’m sorry." I breathed out as he gently set me down but he only chuckled a little, the side of his lips twitching. All traces of sleep which were previously in his eyes were nowhere to be found.
"What should I do with you?" He asked rhetorically as his eyes trailed over every inch of my body. I shifted a little, already starting to feel like I was in deep trouble, all thanks to the insufferable Kai.
