Chapter 152: Plan In Motion
Jules’ pov
It was tense between Kim and I at this point. He wasn’t making conversations and I was too irritated and too on guard to bother doing the same. After that supposed Joke from him, I’ve been glancing around every now and then.
"You’re gonna give away the fact that this is all plan with all that looking around." Kim pointed out before before me and I let out a small huff as I stopped working.
"I wouldn’t have had to keep doing that if you hadn’t scared me." I reminded him and he rolled his eyes.
"It was a lil jokey joke."
I pursed my lips. "Jokes are supposed to be funny, Kim."
He didn’t respond, instead he waved at the racks of shirts right ahead of us.
"Go select something you find cute from those. That’s a part of what we should be doing, shopping together." As he spoke, I stylishly glanced around again.
"You’re coming with me too, right?" I asked and he shook his head.
"I should probably go check the other side..."
I cut into his sentence. "Absolutely not. You’re just gonna go send a signal or something if you do that. The plan was for us to be throughout throughput and that shouldn’t change."
