Chapter 121: The Group Chat
It felt like I was on cloud nine.
I felt happy, the happiest I’ve felt in ages, and it was all thanks to Blaze.
I still felt happy that we ended up working things out the previous night, because I wasn’t sure if I’d have been able to still keep living if he had really sent me away. That stove disturbing and almost like I was starting to depend on him more than I should, but I really couldn’t help it.
I was currently in the kitchen microwaving a takeout which Kim delivered about an hour ago, when Blaze was still asleep. Kim hadn’t been too happy about doing that, and that was me putting it lightly.
When he arrived, he practically shoved the food in my chest and once again blamed me for his misfortune. I had been confused because last I remember, Blaze said he was gonna be looking out for me in exchange for his life, and I don’t remember Blaze telling him he needed to bring us breakfast. He then revealed that Blaze texted him at midnight to be here by this time with breakfast, and he believed it was my fault that he was reduced from literally every omega’s role model to a delivery guy.
I couldn’t even bring myself to feel guilty because last I remembered, all of this was his fault when he decided to work with the late principal and the rest of the sick higher ups, knowing that he was never supposed to go against Blaze.
Howver, before I could give him a piece of my mind, he had whirled away and slammed the door in my face.
I had kept the food in the kitchen and returned to the bedroom, but Blaze had still been asleep and I hadn’t wanted to disturb him, and so I let him bed and decided to unwrap the new phone I received from Andrian last night.
I was torn between using it or to keep using the one Blaze gave me. I ended up putting the new one away because I wasn’t ready to part ways with this one which blaze handed to me for now.
I unlocked the phone and realized that I’ve gotten a bunch of texts from Josh and Taylor.
Taylor had apparently created a group chat and had added Josh and i into it, naming the group ’the besties’.
