Chapter 60: Jealousy, Jealousy
Jules’ pov
I didn’t understand why the sight of Blaze having his arms around those two guys left a bitter taste in my mouth. It was a weird, foreign feeling which I’ve never experienced before.
One of the guys leaned up to whisper something into Blaze’s ear and I felt my stomach squeeze painfully. I was still frozen in the same spot, which was why when Blaze glanced my way, our eyes locked.
I blinked once before turning away and exhaling slowly.
He can do whatever he wants, Jules, and it doesn’t concern you. He’s dangerous, remember. You should be glad that he isn’t currently breathing down your neck and was instead keeping himself busy with those two guys.
I reminded myself as I tried to block that weird, bitter feeling away.
As I strolled out of the hall, I encountered Xander leaning against the wall in the hallway with two other students who were lycans as well. He motioned me over and I hesitated a little before walking over.
"So..." He started without bothering with pleasantries. "I’ll be free in a few days, you’re still on, right?" He asked and I tried not to dwell on the fact that he could talk about a topic like this without caring about the fact that we weren’t alone.
"Yeah." I responded with a nod of my head and he hummed, clearly pleased. He tried putting his arms around my shoulders to tug me against him but I took a step away, preventing that from happening.
