Chapter 38: Once Bitten…
Jules’ pov
Everyone is clearly pleased by the new announcement, everyone but me.
"The trip is going to last for a week. At the end of the trip, a friendly match is gonna take place between this school and our rival in a hockey and tennis match, so at the trip, you’re gonna practice and brush yourselves up for the day of the matches. Your parents are gonna be present to watch as well."
At the mention of ’parents’, I thought of my mother at once.
The person giving the announcement was a middle aged looking man who had a strict expression on his face and his hands shoved into his pockets. The entire students are currently gathered in the large hall at the middle floor of the school.
I pursed my lips and glanced sideways at Taylor who was squealing along with the rest of the students. As soon as our eyes locked, he grabbed my shoulders and shook me a little.
"It’s gonna be so much fun, trust me!" He gushed out and I forced a smile on my face.
I’d have preferred to remain here in this school so I could keep working towards finding out my family’s murderers instead of going on a dumb class trip which is gonna be filled with predators who’d want to bully me until I can’t breathe.
I had thought that the bullying was gonna reduce since I was technically no longer a new student like when I had just arrived in this school. But, I was completely wrong. The bullies still tend to mess with me every now and then and most times, I still always end up at the infirmary.
