Chen Fan couldn’t help but remark that Gang City had developed quickly, then walked toward the inside of Yunzhou Tower.
The fact that Yunzhou Real Estate owned such a towering office building in this bustling area was a testament to its strength.
On the way here, Chen Fan had asked the driver about Jiang Yunzhou. The driver told Chen Fan that Jiang Yunzhou was a big shot in Gang City’s real estate industry, having made a fortune in the earthwork business years ago, with more of a common touch. Though now he was the chairman of the Yunzhou Group real estate empire, he still carried himself like an old-time boss, fond of chunky gold chains and wavy-haired women.
Just as Chen Fan was about to enter the grand doors of Yunzhou Tower, a frantic delivery guy dressed in courier attire stopped him.
"Bro, can you do me a favor? I just got a call from a buddy saying he saw my girlfriend going into a hotel with another man. I have to get over there right away, or she’ll get spoiled by someone else. She promised to save herself for marriage for me; she must have been tricked by that beast. So, can you deliver this meal for me?"
Chen Fan looked at the anxious expression on the delivery guy’s face, which didn’t seem deceitful, so he nodded, "Sure."
The delivery guy immediately handed the bag to Chen Fan, then turned and rode off on his electric bike.
