Chapter 103: Why Are You So Nervous?
Evelynโs chest kept rising and falling in heavy breathing, waiting for Luca whose voice she was no longer hearing.
The sudden cold touch she felt on her arm, startled her, but the man Luca was quick to slap a palm over her mouth, keeping her quiet.

"Shhhh," he said to her, leaning in to whisper, "Be careful. Donโt make any noise. This is your only chance of getting out of here. If you and I are caught, forget you, I am freaking dead, alright?"
She rapidly nodded at him.
Luca grabbed her hand, pulled her aside a little bit, and proceeded to push the wall sheโd hidden against.
Her pupils dilated.
He explained, "It exists for an easy quick escape if anything were to go wrong. Valerio is not a simple man. Heโs involved in a lot of things I wouldnโt speak about, hence why he has far too many houses."
He grabbed her hand and walked in, slowly closing the wall.
"What if there are guards in here?" she asked.
He shook his head. "No. This place is solely for the boss and I only know of him because Iโm allowed to walk every corridor of this building. His men arenโt really aware of this place."
The walk down the stairs was far too narrow. And it echoed when they spoke which made her wonder how far they were going.
"Is this underground?" She asked, whispering.
