Chapter 89: 【082】3 views and 9 orifices, stealing heavenly secrets

Cultivating the Tao without enlightenment is futile even after a hundred years.

The Daoist School believes that the human body has three gates and nine orifices, which, once opened, can receive energy from heaven, earth, space, and humans.

Enhancing one’s aura, connections, popularity, and destiny.

In the state of an opened three gates and nine orifices, one can quickly enter a realm and comprehend ’inspiration’ that does not belong to their current understanding, or what shouldn’t be comprehended at this stage.

This act is named ’Stealing Heaven’s Secrets’ in Daoist School.

It means that the insight you gain is stolen from the Dao of Heaven and doesn’t belong to you now, or perhaps ever.

But how does one open the three gates and nine orifices that don’t physically exist on the human body and are merely conceptual?

One must constantly place themselves on the edge of life and death, focusing all their Spirit, for any moment of distraction could cost them their life, thereby attaining the effect of opening the three gates and nine orifices, and stealing Heaven’s secrets.

This life-risking martial arts training method is also referred to as "grasping skill" in the martial arts world. Each grasp is akin to experiencing a life-and-death crisis, allowing one’s martial abilities to grow rapidly.

In the past, many Martial Artists from Shaolin and Wudang would choose to practice at the edge of a cliff or atop a temple by a precipice for this very purpose.

Wang Longhu, although a novice in the martial arts world, stumbled upon the method of ’stealing Heaven’s secrets’ through his sheer recklessness and fearless Spirit of ignorance, thus allowing him to grasp the technique of the softness of Dark Force in just a single day.
