Chapter 236: WARNING
As Talia stood over the sink filling her water bottle with some water, Ann let herself in
"You look happy." Talia remarked, casually leaning back to shut the water bottle, a small smile on her face.
"The meeting went successful, and Max promised me a day off by October!" Ann squealed, clearly excited.
"I’m so proud of you Ann. You can tell me everything on out way to the gym..." Talia drew closer and they hugged, Ann hugging her tighter. "But... you said you were going to tell me something else when you arrive. is it good news or bad news?"
With that, Ann sighed as she told her everything that ensued between she, Jephthah and Maddy Belle today.
When she was done, she bit her lip and carefully glanced at Talia, expecting a maniac scream, but she just laughed.
"What?" Ann nervously spoke up, brows furrowed in confusion. ’You’re not angry... that I claimed Jephthah was my boyfriend?"
Talia wiped the tears across the edge of her eyes.
"Angry? Why the hell would I be angry. You showed that bitch her place, and the cold shoulder Jephthah gave her was epic. I have the best companions in the world."
Ann was in disbelief with how she took the news, but she decided not to press things further and just go with the flow.
"Okay... well, I just drove down here from the meeting, do you have a spare cloth I can change into before we hit the gym?" She asked, already drawing her hair up in to a ponytail. It had fell about her shoulders like water waves as she excitedly ran upstairs to share her news with her best friend.
