Chapter 212: Climax
"Hey. Are you busy?" Nancy cautiously asked as she poked her head through the door leading into Koan’s office.
"What do you need baby?" He slightly stretched his hands and cupped it towards her. Nancy naturally moved close to him, substituting his legs as her chair.
"Liliana and I have been talking, and we decided that we want to start up a training academy for female pack warriors."
Koan almost choked on his saliva on hearing her words.
"Females?"
"Yes. I realized this pack needs strong, independent, resilient women. After the war, we have fallen short of Pack warriors, and I know Raiden’s recruiting new ones, but I just thought... why not add women?"
"But... that’s a lot of responsibility. Training women. Are you sure you’re up for it?"
"I just needed your consent. With Liliana’s help, I’ll be able to... I’m sure there are young women out there who are yearning for this opportunity."
"Okay... " He agreed, smirking on seeing the delighted look in her eyes on his consent to her request. Reaching up to cup her chin, he adds.
"But you can start next week, remember, we can’t miss the Luna ceremony."
"Definitely not. It’s bad enough I wasn’t around to hear the news about Brittany’s pregnancy. I’m so happy for her... "
