Chapter 77: Liliana
Nancy stretched as she got out of bed. All night, she had been having dreams about Alpha Koan and honestly she felt giddy about meeting him again.
She went about packing her things, wondering when Talia started snoring in bed. When she was done, she thought she’d wake her up but she realized she’d probably be too tired from the events last night and besides, she already knew she’d leave this early and they had said their goodbyes last night.
She left the room quietly, shutting the door behind her without making a single sound. She made her way straight to Beta Raiden’s room, careful not to wake the others up.
She quietly entered the Beta’s room and snorted on seeing Raiden still alseep, hand flung across the bed carelessly, his hair shielding half his handsome features.
She shut the door behind her and threw her bag against the sleeping man.
Raiden sprang up from the bed reflexively, ready to attack whoever it was that dared sneak into his room, unannounced. When he saw who hovered over him, he sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"What are you doing here?" He demanded in a tired voice.
"Aren’t we supposed to be on our way?" She asked.
Beta Raiden dropped on his pillow and reached for his phone lazily. On checking the time, he groaned and tossed the phone aside.
"Nancy? It’s 2:00am!"
"You said we had to leave before anyone else woke up."
