Chapter 17: Seductive and beautiful
"Take me along with you and maybe I won’t tell the Principal what I just saw". Daniel said, a smirk playing on his lips when he saw a tinge of fear flash in her eyes at the mention of the principal.
She suddenly glared at him, her brown eyes, glacy like ice.
"How do you know the principal of this school? Are you even a student here??".
"Will be by next week". He noticed her frown deepen. "That doesn’t matter. I’m bored and I’m kind of interested in heading to whatever place you’re sneaking off to".
"For someone who has probably never seen the ’Other side’". She stuck out her lip in a teasing smile which infuriated him, "I wouldn’t want you to get lost and make your mummy worry about you".
His phone began to ring before he could retort.
Aunt Marcy was calling.
He placed his phone In his pocket only to look up and notice the girl had disappeared.
"Son of a ....".
His sharp eyesight grants him the privilege of sighting her from afar, heading across the road, downtown.
Without a thought, his legs moved across the road, not minding the several car horns and hurled insults from both sides.
