"That... Sir Zhang, please do not wash the dishes! Let me do that!"
"It won’t do," Zhang Fengxi said. Besides, he had just finished. The cleaned bowls and chopsticks were lined up on the wooden rack for drying.
"You already cooked and took care of us the entire night. You should not have to wash up."
"I didn’t do much. After what you have done for me, it is just natural that I repay my debt."
"Just how many debts do you think you have?" Zhang Fengxi snorted. "I hope that you don’t treat everyone the same way. People are more than happy to shamelessly take advantage of you."
Qiao Wei lowered his gaze to the ground.
"I am sure that you are not one of those people," he said quietly.
