By reflex, Xie Jianyu turned his body to the side so that the kick hit his waist instead. The omega winced in anticipation of the hit that never landed.
Instead, he was pulled into a warm embrace, his cheek pressed into a familiar chest, with the other person’s trembling lips hovering above his head.

"No," Zhang Fengxi replied. His voice was firm and unwavering.
"Zhang Fengxi, I warn you," Xie Jianyu said, his voice rising in anger.
"I said, no," Zhang Fengxi repeated.
Drawn by the commotion, people were starting to come out on the streets.
