Lin Xiaoguai always felt that if a person lacked hobbies, their personality would become rigid and inflexible, resulting in a joyless life. Not only would that affect mental health, but it could also have adverse effects on work, social interactions, and other areas.
Moreover, many people develop self-awareness through their hobbies, transforming interests into aspirations and thereby finding direction in life.
"Mom, I finished the tank model you gave me last week. Do you have a new one?" Lin Xiaoguai had tried many activities with her son—arts and martial arts alike—but Shen Yinian’s favorite was modeling.
"You’ve already completed it? That’s great!" Lin Xiaoguai bent down and kissed his cheek. "The new model won’t be ready for another couple of days. For now, go and properly display the one you’ve completed and remember to mark the date."
