Chapter 90 - 16 Planting Vegetables
Lin Xiaoguai’s assigned house had a great layout, not only did it face the sun and has good ventilation, but it also had three balconies. One was a communal large balcony, and the other two were smaller ones connected to the master bedroom and the living room respectively.
If they were to steam buns, the kitchen’s gas stove was obviously not suitable, it was too gas-consuming, and there were no clay or wood stoves here. Fortunately, there was a semi-old coal stove in the corner of the kitchen, borrowing some honeycomb coal to steam the buns would be perfect.

After Shen Chi left, Lin Xiaoguai began to load the steamer with the buns she had prepared. She naturally wouldn’t steam them all at once - first, because the steamer wasn’t big enough, and secondly, because she planned to store them in the fridge to eat gradually.
When Shen Chi returned, he brought not only a basket of honeycomb coal but also a large bowl of pan-fried batter.
"Sister-in-law Jiang was too enthusiastic; she insisted I bring this back with me," Shen Chi said helplessly, heaven knows the bowl was so full he didn’t dare to take large steps down the stairs.
